you are up to #16 in the ap. beat osu this weekend and big ten championship becomes a definite possibility.
If Robinson can avoid turning the ball over, we can run the table at this point, with our defense and our offensive capabilities.
On the other hand, if he returns to Northwesterm form, we beat Illinois, lose out, and crawl into the Music City Bowl or something.
i think the Northwestern win meant more than some people thought at the time. To me, I saw a Penn State team that played like shit in one half come back and will their way to victory (much like USC over Az State this week...). i called you at the time and left a congratulatory message, and in no way was that call meant to be sarcastic. indeed, i think it's going to be the turning point of the Penn State season.
big test this week though. i'm very happy Alabama is off this weekend. we can use the rest.

Much as this game may have exorcised the ghost of the Minnesoate loss in 1999, which began our 5 year stretch of misery, the Northwestern game could be the Texas-OSU game of last year, with Texas making the big comeback and showing toughness since then that hadn't been apparent.
And no sarcasm was read in any congrats, although I still feel weird feeling that good after beating Northwestern. Perhaps these down years breeds more appreciation of a Penn State victory in me.
