No way Georgia wins the SEC east. Shockley is a talent, but he has been streaky. Florida or Tenn have too much talent to let Gerogia slip by.

Have you looked at Tennessee's schedule? Not to mention their highly overrated starting QB? I'll admit Tennessee has good lines, but outside of Jason Allen, I'm not sold at all on their back 4. Kevin Simon is an injury waiting to happen at LB. I think Tennessee loses at least 3 games this year. I think they are the easy pick for most overrated squad in the country this year...

As for Florida, they have no defense and they have no proven RB. And going undefeated at Utah, while impressive, does not indicate success in the SEC. Plus, their schedule (like Tennessee's) is brutal.

Mark Richt has been among the most consistent coaches in the SEC and has become surprisingly underrated in the past few years. Kregg Lumpkin was the #2 RB recruit in the entire country when he came to Georgia. People have forgotten about him due to a knee injury. He won't be forgotten this season. Shockley is amazing. The biggest problems Georgia will have are replacing Pollack on the DL and the lack of proven wide receivers.

Tennessee's schedule is tough, and that is why they are my SEC darkhorse. I think Georgia will have a relatively tough year. However, I do not think they are so bad as to lose at home to Boise St., as our friend Joe Pa seems to think. But if Georgia does lose that game at home, it could portend bad things for the season.
